FAQ

  1. How can I tag my commits so they show up in Tracker?

    • That's a great question, but unfortunately the CF Toolsmiths do not maintain any tooling related to this. The Pivotal Tracker team has a built-in integration that can be found here (mirror).
  2. Why does GitBot need to be an admin on my repo?

    • This is so that GitBot can create/edit/delete webhooks on your repos.
  3. I'm planning to rename or move my repo to a different org. How can I ensure GitBot works with my repo after the change?

    • The biggest thing you need to do is to ensure the cf-gitbot user is still an admin on your repo after the change.
    • We have tooling that will detect the change at the top of the hour, update the configuration file, and push out the changes.
